TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL BUNDLES:

• Provides 12V ignition: The factory radio turns on with a digital signal so when installing the new radio there will not be a source of power. Our interface will provide power to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the fuse box.
  
• Provides Reverse Signal: The new radio will need signal to switch to camera mode when the car is put in reverse. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the reverse lights.
• Provides Parking Brake Signal: Some newer radios need the parking brake engaged in order to access certain functions. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the parking brake handle/switch.
• Provides Speed Sense Signal: In certain newer vehicles, the radio has a function to reduce the volume at certain low speeds. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the vehicle computer.

*How will I know if my sound system is factory amplified / premium or not?  Even though the factory radio may not look premium, there is a possibility that it is indeed premium; this is a common characteristic of Saab vehicles. The ONLY WAY to be 100% sure is to pull out the factory radio and check the wire chart label.  There will be two charts; one for the 14-pin harness and the other for the 16-pin harness.  If on the 14-pin harness chart, the #6 pin is labeled 'RmtEnable', then you have an amplified / premium sound system and this wire harness WILL work for your vehicle.  Please check our other listings for the non-amplified version of this wire harness if your system is not premium

**If a feature is not listed as retained and it is integrated with the factory radio, it will be lost when an aftermarket radio is installed.
