BUNDLE FEATURE RETENTION**

TYPE A:

• Retains factory steering wheel controls
• BYPASSES the factory Becker fiber optic amplifier

TYPE B:

• Retains factory steering wheel controls
• INTEGRATES the factory Becker fiber optic amplifier

OPTIONAL:

• Wake up signal bypass to avoid no sound issues after installation when wake up system is not working correctly

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL BUNDLES:

• Provides 12V ignition: The factory radio turns on with a digital signal so when installing the new radio there will not be a source of power. Our interface will provide power to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the fuse box.
  
• Provides Reverse Signal: The new radio will need signal to switch to camera mode when the car is put in reverse. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the reverse lights.
• Provides Parking Brake Signal: Some newer radios need the parking brake engaged in order to access certain functions. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the parking brake handle/switch.
• Provides Speed Sense Signal: In certain newer vehicles, the radio has a function to reduce the volume at certain low speeds. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the vehicle computer.

BUNDLE DIFFERENCES:

The speakers on the vehicle are powered by the factory fiber optic amplifier made by HARMAN/BECKER. 

BYPASS SOLUTION (TYPE A): Recommended when

• The factory amplifier will not be used
• A basic speaker setup is powered directly by the aftermarket radio
• An aftermarket amplifier will be installed (rewiring required)

INTEGRATION SOLUTION (TYPE B): Recommended when

•  You want to retain the full factory sound system, including subwoofers
• Quicker, clean installation with reduced labor

** If a feature is not listed as retained and it is integrated with the factory radio, it will be lost when an aftermarket radio is installed.
