Retains vehicle's factory Steering Wheel Controls (if equipped) when installed with a SWC compatible aftermarket radio (Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, LG, Panasonic, Pioneer, Philips, Sony, Jensen, Android and off-brand aftermarket radios)
Provides 12-volt accessory power
Retains NAV outputs: Reverse, Park Brake, V.S.S. (vehicle speed sense) for installation of an aftermarket navigation radio
Retains factory Parking Sensor sound (excluding X5 models)
Retains factory warning chimes such as oil/washer fluid level, door open, and seatbelt
Allows for the installation of aftermarket radio using existing factory wiring and connectors
No cutting of factory wiring necessary
