BUNDLE FEATURE RETENTION**

TYPE A:

• 2005-2008 Models
• Retains factory steering wheel controls

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL BUNDLES:

Integrates the factory fiber optic amplifier:

• The vehicle’s speakers and subwoofer(s) are powered by a factory fiber optic amplifier made by BOSE (2005–2008) or Harman Kardon (2009–2012). Our interface seamlessly integrates with these amplifiers, eliminating the need to rewire the entire vehicle.

Provides 12V Ignition:

• The factory radio is activated via a digital signal. When installing an aftermarket radio, this signal is unavailable. Our interface supplies the required 12V ignition power without the need to tap into the fuse box.

Provides Reverse Signal: 

• Aftermarket radios typically require a signal to activate the rearview camera when the vehicle is shifted into reverse. Our interface delivers this signal directly, removing the need to connect to the reverse light wiring.

Provides Parking Brake Signal: 

• Many modern radios require the parking brake to be engaged to access certain safety or setup features.

Provides Speed Sense Signal:

• Some radios include speed-sensitive volume adjustment or navigation accuracy improvements.
• Our interface provides this signal without accessing the vehicle’s computer or CAN bus directly.

**If a feature is not listed as retained and it is integrated with the factory radio, it will be lost when an aftermarket radio is installed.
