TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
- Provides 12V ignition: The factory radio turns on with a digital signal so when installing the new radio there will not be a source of power. Our interface will provide power to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the fuse box.
- Provides Reverse Signal: The new radio will need signal to switch to camera mode when the car is put in reverse. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the reverse lights.
- Provides Parking Brake Signal: Some newer radios need the parking brake engaged in order to access certain functions. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the parking brake handle/switch.
- Provides Speed Sense Signal: In certain newer vehicles, the radio has a function to reduce the volume at certain low speeds. Our interface will provide that signal to the new radio without the need to obtain it from the vehicle computer.
- Integrates the factory fiber optic amplifier: The speakers are powered by a factory fiber optic amplifier. Our interface integrates the factory amplifier so there is no need to rewire the entire vehicle.
**If a feature is not listed as retained and it is integrated with the factory radio, it will be lost when an aftermarket radio is installed.
